Every now and then in life you meet a couple that one admires and are just plain decent folk who live their lives helping others when possible without shouting about it. Well I see examples of this from this couple on a regular basis and often wish I could be like them. For example I see Tom brings people to Mass each Sunday and Mary was well known for her charitable work towards the older person in the parish and in particular to the Friends of St. Columba's. Well now they have reached a major milestone in life...their golden wedding anniversary and we all wish them continued good health.
