Just after Christmas was going for a spin out the Dublin road from Thomastown, along by Smithstown when I saw this gent walking on the other side of the road with what looked like a fox happily sitting on his shoulder, as contented as good be. Had the camera in the car so got out and recognised him...Patsy Gibbons, Coluimcille. He told me that the baby fox had been found in a bin in Thomastown and destined for a sudden death in the crusher of a bin lorry. So he took it home and has reared it since. As quite as you'd get was this fox, cars buzzed past without the fox blinking an eyelid. If you have enjoyed viewing these photographs please click here and leave a comment.
