Awards Ceremony at OBriens Irish Sandwich Bar

On Thursday, 17th May 2000, both my wife Sheila and I had a brilliant day out in Dublin, courtesy of Brody Sweeney, MD of OBriens Irish Sandwich Bar. We were entertained at their location in the IFSC. Reason being, one morning whilst travelling down Market Street, Thomastown, my wife Sheila saw four ducks outside our local solicitors office and they were asleep. So I went home and got the camera and they were still there when I returned. This photograph was among 900 submitted to OBriens Photographic Competition and came in the top five. So you can now get this photograph free from OBriens as a postcard to send to your friends around the world. Included above on the left is Liam Mulcahy, group Photographic Manager with Independent Newspapers who was one of the judges. You can see in the rear Edel Nicholson, PRO for OBriens, who organised the day. Click on the logo above if you wish to visit OBriens Sandwich website.
