Arrived out into the courtyard at Mount Juliet at 9.30.a.m. on Friday, 16th. May to a round of applause from a lively crowd who were touring Ireland as part of "The Irish Jig" section of the Jedwish National Fund rally from UK to Jerusalem. Did'nt they go a bit wrong in the navigation end of things coming to Ireland...not so..they are after having a ball from 11th May and not finished until 18th. May. I have one thing in common with this group iin that I drove from Jerusalem to Le Harve without ever leaving the car some years ago in a VW Beatle. Took one week exactly and going through Beirut I recall burning of tyres near the Airport at the start of the civil unrest there. Most scenic part of the journey was Austria. Spent a few weeks in Eilat when you get there and visit the King Soloman Hotel...they have a great floor show each night.
