On a lovely spring morning, Friday, 13th. Feb. a meet took place at Hunter's Yard, Mount Juliet of Kilkenny Hunt. Prior to setting off a cheque was presented to Ian Wilson, Chairman of Carlow/Kilkenny Home Care Team. Words cannot describe the support and welfare that this team give to families who wish to nurse their sick relations at home. Catherine Quinlan, director of nursing and her staff are caring people to whom many people owe a debt of gratitude. A wonderful sight to see the hounds and horses setting off. Scroll down to see more photographs from this unique meeting.

Francis who works in the golf section was wondering and musing with the idea that horses do not talk back. Final few photographs are as the hunt left the estate bound for Ballyconway and Knockard. What a delight to see our heritage continued and bring back memories of childhood when we used to marvel at the passing hunt and the sound of the bugle. and add a comment on my guestbook. They will help to improve the content of the site.
