Congratulatins to Rita and Padraig Kirwan, Goatsbridge Trout Farm, Thomastown who celebrated their golden wedding anniversary at Lyrath Estate Hotel, Kilkenny recently. Fr. Dan Bollard, PP., Thomastown celebrated Mass and organ played by Catherine Denieffe with singing organised by Bridin Kirwan. It was many years ago when Padraig was advised by a local butcher that there was a new teacher in town. He did'nt wait long to make himself known to her and so that led to him walking her down the aisle sometime thereafter in Killaloe. It was a real joy to be part of these celebrations.
