Congratulations to Elizabeth O'Connell, Knockanore, Thomastown and Gavin Cosgrave, Orchard,
Clonegal, Co. Carlow who got married in the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown. That full moon that Elizabeth's father Jim talked about earlier in the week did not seem to do the trick. We were let down from a weather point of view but that was all. A mighty crowd gathered in the Church where our new parish priest Fr, Bollard performed his first wedding there. We were also blessed with some beautiful music during the wedding from Bridget and Margaret Nolan. Margaret has such a sweet voice that sticks me to the seat anytime I ever hear her sing. Gavin is a lucky fellow the day at lectures when his eyes rambled from taking notes to a blonde innocent lady from Kilkenny.

So we took the group shot inside the church due to the heavy rain and I met some very interesting people in the crowd. one gentleman there was rabbitting on about a bigger event than this wedding in Kilkenny in a year or so...something about a ploughing match. Another told me he was an uncle of the bride...came from Enniscorthy and now lives in Dublin. He was on about food. On the right of that group pictured above was this blonde gent was keeping an eye on the chief bridesmaid. Do you know them? Scroll down to see more photographs. Would really like to thank Elizabeth and Gavin for their help yesterday and also the girls Sinead and Clare and the boys David and Nicholas. If you have enjoyed viewing these photographs please click here and leave a comment or greeting on my guestbook. Elizabeth and Gavin will also be able to read your messages when they are on holiday way out in the Indian Ocean that is such an enchanting and romantic location. I was there and they are in for a most wonderful time. More photographs below.
