Photographs of Distinction, Michael OByrne

On Easter Monday, 2004, took a trip down to Dunmore East, Co. Waterford. What a beautiful and enchanting village to visit at anytime of the year, not like commercialised nearby Tramore. This village has everything going for it, including some friendly guillemots who call it home and a person who feels that the fresh air of the sea is better than any posh hotel. A place worth visiting is when one is leaving the quay, a restful and interesting memorial to those who have been lost at sea. Not as impressive as the Rememberance Garden in Kilmore Quay, Co. Wexford. Stop awhile and read the inscription below and dwell awhile on those who have not returned from their voyage.
