Congratulations to Carmel Moran, Powerstown East, Goresbridge, Co. Kilkenny who got married in the Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, Skeoughvosteen on 18th. May, 2007. As you can see from the first photograph the sun was shining but so was the wind blowing and the showers coming. Some of the girls had to hold down Carmel's dress and veil as we entered the church with her proud father Joe. During the Mass I heard some wonderful singing by Breda McDonald and she did not need a mircrophone. Anyone who knows Skeough Church knows that its in a very exposed location and I wish to thank all those who stayed for the group photograph. whilst Carmel and Nigel greeted their guests. I usually like at this time to take photograph of ladies fashions. Did so and saw one lady retaining her modesty with a white scarf but saw two gents from Tullamore who had the same suit. Now I though they had a great tailor in that town Galvins!! Greetings to Connie and Kerry who came over from New York for the wedding. Both Carmel and Nigel have many friends in the Big Apple and send their regards to all. Many thanks to the girls Marion, Marie and Orla and also the boys Mark, Damnien and Noel but also not forgetting Mairead Kelly who did a wonderful job as flower girl. Off to the Newpark Hotel in Kilkenny through some bad traffic as usual.
