Congratulations to Claire Cahill, Ballyouskill and Eddie Dunne, Mountrath, Co. Laois who got married in Church of the Assumption, Ballyouskill which is just on the border with Co. Laois. Some style at this wedding, there was this fellow here who arrived with the sister of the groom had a shirt matching her dress, amazed when he told me he got it in Penny's. Met this gent who I thought was a Garda with a blue shirt having an interest in opening a handbag for a lady, some said it was his Mother. A happy crowd of almost three hundred souls at this wedding and thanks to Fr. Tommy Murphy who performed the wedding ceremony who is also Claire's boss in the local National School.

Had a wonderful afternoon at Jenkinstown wood where the rain just about kept at bay but we were all surprised when Eddie choose a most unusual and unromantic mode of transport to head back to the hotel...a motor bike!!! Poor Claire!!! Thanks to them both and also to Caroline, Katie (good luck with the Leaving) and Marie and not forgetting the gents, Anthony, John and Jimmy Farrell. We wish both Claire and Eddie all the happiness in the world over the coming years.
